WPS is establishing a Financial Oversight Committee to help guide the district in making sound financial decisions for the future. Applications are due April 11.

Congratulations to Daisy Montes, Kamariah Bloom, Peighton Taylor and Reylen Smith on their performance at the Area Honor Choir concert. These four have also been selected to participate in the All-City Area Honor Choir. They will join a select group of 5th graders from across the district to sing at Century II – a thrilling opportunity. Great job, ladies!

WPS schools enjoyed friendly competition while making the holidays bright for Wichita families in need at the 2024 Turkey Drive, collecting 2040 turkeys, 48,560 side items and more than $18,000.

Wichita Public Schools’ graduation rate for the Class of 2024 is 84.3%, up 10.3 percentage points from 2018.

Wichita Public Schools enrollment for the 24-25 school year is 46,556. Traditional PreK – 12 enrollment has increased for the first time in several years.
